President of the Bowling Green Community Foundation, Joe Edens, stopped in for a visit to extend an invitation for golfers to join them for the 28th annual BGCF Golf Outing on September 18th at Stone Ridge Golf Club.

The Bowling Green Community Foundation exists to help generosity make a lasting difference in Bowling Green. We partner with individuals, families, businesses, and organizations to steward charitable funds and invest in programs that enhance community wellbeing.
Joe also reminded us that the annual community grant application cycle officially opened on August 1st for 2027 grants. Local 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations and qualified public entities serving the Bowling Green area are invited to submit grant proposals for innovative programs that enhance the health, welfare, and overall vitality of the community.
The application deadline is October 9, 2026. Non-profit organizations operating within or serving the 43402 and 43403 zip codes are eligible. Complete guidelines, eligibility criteria, and application forms are available online on the Foundation’s website, www.bowlinggreenCF.org. All proposals and supporting documentation must be submitted prior to the application deadline.
