The Bowling Green State University (9-5-4) ice hockey team picked up its first win of the calendar year after outscoring the Ohio State Buckeyes in the third period, 3-0, to secure a 5-3 victory on Saturday evening in front of 5,000 fans at the Slater Family Ice Arena. Clint chats with Coach Williams about the win and upcoming games.

The Executive Director of the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce, Mary Hinkelman, invited Rosenboom HR Director Denise Krupp to share with Clint what Rosenboom will use the $1,000 grant for and how easy the process was to apply. The deadline for application for the 4th quarter grant is Dec. 31st. Mary shares updates on projects and collaborations coming in 2026.

The Ability Center recently celebrated a monumental milestone of 105 years of service to the community, across 13 counties! Listen to Clint’s chat as he welcomes Taylor Fitzgerald, Development and Outreach Coordinator, and Stacie Baumbarger, Director of ACT’s Assistance Dog department, to tell us more.

Coach Riggs and Clint talk about the recent contribution from BG Baseball by Tim Dunn of $100,000 worth of 2nd generation lighting equipment for the baseball field at the high school. Clint shares an update, Dale Minyo from the Ohio’s Country Journal and Ohio Ag Net announced he would be stepping away from the microphone saying -“After more than 30 years of sharing farm news across Ohio, it’s time for me to share some personal news. At the end of 2025, I’ll hang up my microphone and step away from the only career I’ve known.” The Morning Show BG is proud to carry the Ohio Ag Network report daily at 7:50.

18-year-old Sam Challu, a 2025 graduate of Bowling Green High School and now a Freshman at Brown University, shared his story with Clint this morning of being on campus last Saturday. Sam and Clint talk about his journey from being an outstanding student at BGHS that received scholarship offers from several colleges around the country.

Wood County Health Department Tyler Briggs, Assistant Director of HPP, and Kathy Teeple, Public Health Nurse, join Clint in the studio to talk about immunizations and how to stay healthy this season.
