Tom Ross, BG Parks and Recreation Board – Levy Update
The Bowling Green Parks & Recreation Board agreed unanimously at Tuesday night’s meeting to increase the amount of this November’s property tax levy to offset rising costs, new facilities that have come online and increased participation in the many programs they now offer. Voters will decide on a 5-year renewal at 2 mills plus an additional .95 mills.

The 10th annual Bowling Green Ride of Silence was held at the Veterans Building Parking Lot, located at City Park.The International Ride of Silence, now in its 24th year where cyclists took to the roads in a slow, silent procession to honor cyclists who have been killed or injured while cycling on public roadways.
