Horizon Youth Theatre is proud to present “Be More Chill,” directed by Mikayla Trimpey, through special arrangement with Concord Theatricals. A prestigious longevity award was presented to Wood County Hospital at the Ohio Hospital Association (OHA) 11th Annual Meeting in Columbus recently. This event marked a significant milestone for WCH and recognized their longstanding service and commitment. President Korducki was also honored as Ohio’s longest-seated current hospital CEO, with more than 30 years of leadership!

The Leadership Bowling Green (LBG) Class of 2026 hosted their year end community service project, “Pickleballin’ for a Good Cause”, on Saturday from 9am to 5pm at the Bowling Green Community Center.

The Bowling Green Parks & Recreation Board agreed unanimously at Tuesday night’s meeting to increase the amount of this November’s property tax levy to offset rising costs, new facilities that have come online and increased participation in the many programs they now offer. Voters will decide on a 5-year renewal at 2 mills plus an additional .95 mills.

For the 6th straight year, folks will be gathering on Eberly Ave. and surrounding porches for this year’s Porchfest Bowling Green, OH! It’s a FREE family friendly event that brings 21 bands from across the area to perform 1-hour sets with a variety of music for all tastes.Committee members Brian Young and Nolan Brennan visit with Clint to share an update!

Katie from Girls Scouts of Western Ohio stops in the studio to reach out to all girls, kindergarten through 8th grade, to join in this year’s 3 day “Uncharted Adventures” day camp. Katie tells Clint girls will participate in hands-on activities involving science, animals, and adventures. Meet new friends, explore outside, have one session of swimming, make crafts, play games, sing camp songs and much more!

The 10th annual Bowling Green Ride of Silence was held at the Veterans Building Parking Lot, located at City Park.The International Ride of Silence, now in its 24th year where cyclists took to the roads in a slow, silent procession to honor cyclists who have been killed or injured while cycling on public roadways. Clint shares an update from cyclist and Mayor Aspacher.
