Amateur Radio Day and dispatcher appreciation week were a couple of the topics Clint covered with Erin and Jeff from the Wood County Emergency Management Agency on Tuesday morning’s show.
Listen to their visit where they talked about the important role HAM radio operators still play after 100 years and they also discussed the critical role of emergency dispatchers. Erin and Jeff also touched on funding cuts that may be coming from the Federal Government and how any cuts could impact emergency services.
Stan Korducki- President of Wood County Hospital
Listen to this week’s visit with Stan Korducki, President of the Wood County Hospital, who confirmed to Clint that he does attend the orientation of every new employee hired. Clint also talked with Mr. Korducki about the challenges of communities like the City of Bowling Green, Ohio and Wood County that are expecting accelerated growth in the coming years as mentioned at the recent “State of the City” address that he and I both attended. On the lighter side, Stan also invited everyone to stop by the hospital and support the Wood County Hospital Guild in today’s Bundt cake fundraiser, yum!
