Clint interviews Wood County Health Department Commissioner Ben Robison Thursday morning on the renovations that are underway.
You’ll also hear them discuss that the Wood County Health Department, in collaboration with Bowling Green City Schools, Ohio, is proud to highlight the success of the Anti-Vaping Video Contest held at Crim Elementary. All 108 fourth and fifth grade students participated, using their creativity and voice to advocate for healthier, vape-free lifestyles.

Chris Smalley, Director – Wood County Parks

Great news for the Wood County Park District and the many folks who enjoy the Slippery Elm Trail!
Listen to Clint’s conversation with Chris Smalley, Director of Wood County Parks, after we got word that Nearly $52 million in grants will be distributed over the next four years to improve safety and connectivity for pedestrians and bicyclists across Ohio, including approximately $800,000 for a resurfacing project for the trail!
Great news for the village of Portage as well. The Portage sidewalk replacement will also receive funding for the sidewalk portion of the SR 25 Portage Resurfacing Project. This project will replace approximately 3,400 feet of concrete sidewalk along both sides of Findlay Pike/SR 25.

The Horizon Youth Theatre production of Children of Eden hits the stage at the Grand Rapids Town Hall theater, 24282 Front St., Grand Rapids this weekend and we had the pleasure of meeting Director Cassie Greenlee and 3 of the very talented cast.
