Brian Swope, Project Mgr. Rudolph Libbe Group- BG High School Building

Members of the Bowling Green City Schools, Ohio Board of Education plus the local media got a tour of the new High School construction before Tuesday’s board meeting. According to Project Manager Brian Swope from Rudolph Libbe Group, the 155,000 square foot facility is on budget and on time for opening to students in the fall of 2027. Clint discusses the $700,000 in support of the Bowling Green Law Enforcement Education and Training Center that Rep. Ghanbari and Ohio Senator Theresa Gavarone helped to secure in the State Capital Budget for the project. They also share their thoughts on the passing this past weekend of a dear friend and leader in the Ohio Veterans Community, Dave Ridenour.

Rachel Aeschliman, Interim Health Commissioner – Wood County Health Department

At this month’s Wood County Health Department Board meeting it was unanimous to appoint Rachel Aeschliman, deputy health commissioner, as interim health commissioner. The vote came after the board accepted the resignation of Ben Robison, who served as county health commissioner for almost six years, and took a position at the Ohio Department of Health. Clint chats with Rachel about her appointment.
