Sara Nidiffer, WCESC and Lora Graves, WC Juvenile Prob Court – Back to School at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church

Nearly 500 school age children and their families turned out for Back to School Trunk or Treat style event held Tuesday afternoon in the parking lot of St. Marks Lutheran Church.
The Wood County Educational Service Center and Wood County Juvenile Court held the event for the 3rd straight year to help county students obtain the items they need to start off the 2025-2026 school year. Yesterday, the Bowling Green Fire Division came to the rescue of a sweet cat who had been stuck in a tree for five days! Thanks to their persistence and compassion, she was safely brought down and taken to Midway Animal Hospital for evaluation and care. ❤️
