Two local businesswomen who have a passion for history and the City of Bowling Green, Ohio, Shaun Reeves and Heidi Bisbee have taken on a labor of love in renovating one of the oldest homes in the city. The Lincoln House at 325 N. Main St. was built by prominent Bowling Green residents Dr. J.C. Lincoln and his wife Nettie, and has been everything from a private home to a fraternity house. Shaun and Heidi now hope to pay respect to both the Lincolns and the building with their new venture. Listen to Clint’s interview with Shaun and Heidi.

Clint visits with the City of Bowling Green, Ohio Arborist Adrien Lowien-Kirian who shares details on the spotted lanternfly, now identified in the city. The City of Bowling Green’s Urban Forester is encouraging residents to stay alert for the presence of spotted lanternflies (Lycorma delicatula), an invasive insect species that has been spreading across parts of Ohio and the Mid-Atlantic region.

Fentanyl-related substances will now be permanently classified as a Schedule I drug under the Controlled Substances Act (HALT Fentanyl Act), after legislation that was spearheaded by U.S. Rep. Bob Latta (R., Bowling Green) and U.S. Rep. Morgan Griffith (R., Va.)., was signed into law last week.
Clint talks with Rep. Latta about this bill and also about local officials concerns over the “Big Beautiful Budget Bill,” as passed by the administration and concerns over the effect of the Medicaid and SNAP cuts in funding and increases in requirements.
