The purpose of the Center for Inclusive Dentistry program is to increase access to dental care for persons with disabilities. This program is a reality according to Lindsey Ruivivar, the Wood County Community Health Center CEO, and Merrilee Ewing-Beckley, Dental Assistant, who join Clint to share an update about this amazing program being offered at the health center.

Mark Shamp and Chad Smith are key figures in the organization Angels in Arms, which supports local veterans, law enforcement, and first responders. Mark Shamp, a U.S. Navy veteran and resident of Bowling Green, founded Angels in Arms in 2020 to fill a gap in providing assistance to local veterans and their families. The Administrator of Wood Haven Health Care and chief elf, Jeff Orlowski, stops in to share details on the “Movement4Living” program that’s been initiated to help residents and community members living with Parkinson’s disease.

Sarah Nidiffer from the Wood County Educational Service Center visits Clint to share details on several initiatives her team is involved in to help families in need during the holiday season and beyond.

Hallie shares details with Clint on this year’s “BG Merry and Bright: A Holiday Concert at the Wood County Courthouse,” a festive showcase of local talent. People are invited to attend on Sunday, Dec. 14, for an afternoon of music, community, and holiday cheer inside one of Wood County’s most historic and beloved landmarks.

The first half of the 2025-26 academic year is winding down, Clint caught up with Bowling Green City Schools, Ohio Superintendent Dr. Ted Haselman in his office for the latest update on “Bobcat Happenings”.

It’s on to the National Championship game this Saturday in Houston after the BGSU Men’s Rugby team knocked off the Louisville Cardinals in overtime 26-21 last weekend. Assistant BGSU Hockey Coach Matt Nicholson subbed for Head Coach Dennis Williams during Clint’s weekly Hockey update. Nicholson joined the BGSU ice hockey staff in the summer of 2025 after several seasons coaching in the Atlantic Hockey League and playing professionally as a defenseman.

During Clint’s visit this morning with Brandon and Lori from Bowling Green Manor he was introduced to Jessica, the new Director of Nursing at the facility at 1021 W. Poe Rd.

The Bowling Green Fire Division and the City of Bowling Green rings in the season of giving by collecting toys again this year, as part of a partnership with 13 Action News and Salvation Army. The collection culminated with 13ABC’s one-day “Hope for the Holidays” drive-through event, which is taking place in the Woodland Mall parking lot today starting at 6 a.m.
