V. Jane Rosser- Director of Civic Engagement in the Marvin Center for Student Leadership

Clint caught up with V. Jane Rosser, the former Director of the Center for Public Impact at Bowling Green State University and Director of civic engagement in the Marvin Center for Student Leadership. As well as board member for the Optimal Aging Institute, and asked her to reflect on her decades of service. Roesser retired in 2023. Anesa Miller- Zoning of Historic Property

An ordinance amending the zoning district map of the City of Bowling Green for approximately .307 acres at 416 West Wooster Street from PR Pedestrian-Residential to R-2 Medium Density Residential Zoning passed by a 5-2 margin during City of Bowling Green, Ohio Council meeting. Council member Rachel Phipps expressed her support of the ordinance and was joined in voting in favor of the variance by Mark Hollenbaugh, Council President, William Herald, Jeff Dennis and Jordan Musgrave. Voting no on the amendment were Greg Robinette and Joel O'Dorisio.The owner of the historic property, Anesa Miller, has said she intends to renovate the historic house after 30 years of being vacant and falling in disrepair. Miller intends to turn the property into a duplex with 2 living areas. Listen here for more information.

Adam Skaff- BGPD Lt.

Listen as Lt. Adam Skaff describes the stabbing that took place in the 200 block of N. Main St. early Sunday Morning. As you'll hear in the interview, the suspect has been identified as 20-year-old Marcus Ruiz of Toledo. A search is underway for Ruiz, the victim in the attack has been listed in stable condition and is expected to survive.

Jon Waters- BGSU Director of Athletic and Marching Bands

For the first time in its 102-year history, the Bowling Green State University Falcon Marching Band — one of the nation’s largest college bands has traveled to Ireland to perform in the iconic St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Dublin. The Falcon Marching Band will be one of only three college marching bands performing in the parade, which winds through Ireland’s capital city for about two miles, typically drawing half a million spectators.Listen to Clint's visit with Professor Jon Waters, BGSU Director of Athletic and Marching Bands, before they left for Ireland.

Marissa Muñiz Kolhoff- Wood County Museum Marketing & Events Coordinator

Marissa Muñiz Kolhoff, Marketing & Events Coordinator, joins Clint to invite everyone to join the Wood County Museum for the 5th Annual Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt Presented by Sleek Academy & All About the Kids Learning Center. From April 1-30, find all 10 egg signs and collect the clues to win a prize. Signs will be “hidden” all around the Museum grounds, all 50 acres! This is a FREE community event!
But wait there's more! The entire 2nd floor of the museum will be opening for the season next week and will include the long awaited "For service and Support" exhibit. Also, on April 24th the opening and ribbon cutting will take place for the long anticipated "WWII exhibit".

Harrison G. Jacob- BGSU Beekeeping Club Advisor

Harrison G. Jacob, Bowling Green Beekeeping Club Advisor for the Bowling Green Beekeeping Club at Bowling Green State University stopped in the studio to invite the community to reserve a spot at the Year in Review Celebration being held at the Bowen Thompson Student Union on Friday, April 25th.The celebration will include a year in review presentation, keynote addresses by distinguished speakers plus networking opportunities and a catered meal. Eddie George - BGSU Head Football Coach

Eddie George, former All-Pro, Heisman Trophy winner at The Ohio State University, and the head coach at Tennessee State for the past four years, was introduced as the new head football coach at Bowling Green State University in front of a large crowd at a ceremony in the Stroh Center this morning. The match is scheduled to begin at 1 pm in Perrysburg, Ohio. BGSU will be hosting the Racers for the first time since in program history.

With the proposed 2026-2027 State of Ohio Biennial Executive budget now being considered by the Ohio House and Senate, we talked with BG Mayor Mike Aspacher and Bowling Green City Schools, Ohio Superintendent Dr. Ted Haselman about any impact it could have on local schools. Listen to this month's latest update from Superintendent Haselman who said if the budget is passed most schools across Wood and Lucas counties would see a decrease in state funding including Bg Schools which would lose over $275,00 in those 2 years.
