Bowling Green resident Sheila Brown is resurrecting a variety show format she produced years ago at Bowling Green State University. With auditions now underway and the call out for technical and stage help, the show will be staged at the Bowling Green City Schools Performing Arts Center, 540 W. Poe Road, Bowling Green, on Aug. 7 at 8 p.m., and Aug. 8 at 7 p.m.

We were also able to connect Charese Botjer from the Wood Lane – Wood County Board of Developmental Disabilities who was able to tell the coach about the “Celebrity Basketball” fundraising game that’s taking place as part of the kickoff of Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month on Thursday, March 5, from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at the BG Community Center, 1245 W. Newton Road.
