Clint’s interview today with Mariah Burks (The Cook) a native Clevelander and a Bowling Green State University Graduate, who is making her national tour debut in CLUE at the Stranahan Theater & Great Hall opening May 6th.
A recipient of the National Irene Ryan Acting Award at The Kennedy Center, Mariah shared her memories of studying Theater and Film at BGSU, her many roles in the Cleveland area, her role in what she called a “high brow” comedy and shared some advice for youngsters who may want to follow in her footsteps.
CLUE is a hilarious new play based on the cult 1985 Paramount movie, inspired by the classic Hasbro game. The tale begins at a remote mansion, where six mysterious guests assemble for an usual dinner party where murder and blackmail are on the menu.
